Artist Biography

A self-described musical chameleon, Việt is a 21-year old singer-songwriter based inToronto, Ontario. Combining the lush harmonies and rhythms of his Humber jazz education, with the booty-shaking grooves of his first loves, neo-soul and disco, Việt has created a unique sound utterly transcendent of the decades.

Lyrically, he draws upon his experiences growing up as a queer youth of colour in the city, seeking to spark a musical dialogue for issues of gender, sexuality, and cultural identity.

Watch out for the release of his first EP, Pleasure Slave, in the fall of 2019.
