BASSLINE
BassLine is an emerging funk band on the Toronto music scene. Fusing influences their repertoire blends funk, pop, rock, and jazz, creating a modern sound.
This grooving, 9-piece ensemble offers music that is comparable to Vulfpeck, KC Roberts & The Live Revolution, and Maceo Parker. Featuring numerous working musicians of Toronto’s music scene, their individual voices blend to create heavy hitting grooves, and full textures. In March of 2017 the band is beginning work on a new EP featuring songs written over the past year. They will be recording and filming a live performance at The Piston on April 6th, 2017. They are also in the process of booking a tour in late May and early June, final dates and locations to be announced.
