Having been brought up in a household of classical musicians, Christopher’s first influences were from the classical and Jazz realms but growing up in a diverse metropolis allowed him to hear and be influenced by many genres of music. Listeners may hear a Mélange of Bela Bartok, Young Thug and Stichting Doudou N'diaye Rose throughout the set. For TU Jazz Fest 2018 - TUJF, the collective will be in quintet form featuring Scott Bevins on trumpet, Louis Stein on guitar, Ethan Cohn on bass, and Sean Allison on drums.
