Canadian Content Revival

Canadian Content Revival is a recently formed quintet of current and graduated University of Toronto Jazz students. Guitarist and band leader Thom Mason draws repertoire from great Canadian musicians and composers Kenny Wheeler, Don Thompson, Phil Nimmons, Mike Malone, Sonny Greenwhich, Barry Elmes, and numerous others. The idea behind the group is to bring attention and awareness to great Canadian songs and musicians that have had and continue to have a huge impact on the jazz scene in Toronto. The band continues to play and develop as much as possible while discovering new music to arrange and perform.
