The RL Session
Robert Lee is an up-and-coming bassist in the Toronto jazz scene. As a student at Humber College, he has studied both privately and in ensembles with Mike Downes, Ted Quinlan, and Neil Swainson.
The RL Session was started with the goal of writing and performing music that is influenced by both traditional jazz and modern styles. The band feature Humber College students who have been individually influenced by many styles of music, ranging from pop and folk to bebop and free jazz. This has helped to shape the their distinctive sound and style.
